Former New Zealand based galloper Fraajilistic appears well placed to break through for his first victory in Singapore, when set to contest the third event this evening.

A luckless runner in his first start for the Michael Freedman camp, the son of Iffraaj displayed good improvement in his latest, beaten narrowly at this track and trip.

On that occasion he was only collared late in the piece and should be closing in on his peak racing third up.

Prior to coming to Singapore, Fraajilistic notched up four victories in New Zealand and finished within two lengths off the winner in Group 3 company.

Rising marginally at the weights from his latest effort, the four-year-old is still well placed when taking a line through both To Be Remembered and Jefferson Bay.

These gallopers finished fifth and eighth respectively behind Fraajilistic last start, and have both won well since, albeit in lesser company.

Unseen for 33 days, Fraajilistic was kept ticking over in a recent trial, coasting to the line to defeat his stablemate Bogart in reasonable time.

Leading rider Corey Brown sticks aboard and is likely to settle just off the speed.

Though unable to hold on last start, he still rates highly using Timeform weight adjusted ratings.

More notably if able to run up to his peak form in New Zealand, he is simply a class above his rivals.

Overall the Michael Freedman stable is striking at 15 per cent with gallopers racing third up and is striking at 21 per cent with gallopers who finish second at their start prior.

Before making his debut in Singapore, Fraajilistic was highlighted as a galloper who was more than capable of making the rise through the grades.

Though beaten at his first two starts, he is expected to break through this evening and could be one worth sticking with.

The Laurie Laxon trained Euro Zone remains the main danger, following his handy victory first up.

A somewhat perennial placegetter, the son of Iffraaj proved too good for his rivals when saluting by half a length at this track and trip.

Bringing up his third victory from 16 starts, Euro Zone has always displayed good ability and can go in with the job this preparation.

Former Australian based jockey Michael Rodd links aboard for the first time and will be looking to continue his winning run with the Laxon stable, having won aboard Huka Falls last weekend.

Using Timeform weight adjusted ratings, Euro Zone isn't rated far off Fraajilistic and should be right around the mark.

The Mark Walker trained Om appears the next best following her third placing behind Fraajilistic last start.

Caught wide throughout, she hit the line well and is worth including in the multiples.

Another galloper who is capable is the Theo Kieser trained Mexborough Boy, following his solid effort first up.

He is expected to show good improvement racing second up and has won four of 11 over this trip including three placings from seven starts on the polytrack.

From the middle draw he cannot be taken lightly.
