Lightly raced Sheza Gypsy will look to continue her good recent form when lining up in the Manning Valley Bus Chamber Class 3 (1007m) at Taree today.
The Michael Byers-trained runner resumed well over this C/D last start when running third after losing a plate and would expect her to show plenty of improvement on that effort here.
The four-year-old mare has raced three times here at her home course, winning two of them and placing on the other occasion.
Raymond Spokes stays on board for this and the only time Sheza Gypsy has not featured in the finish was when up in grade at Wyong before a spell.
From barrier 5, the daughter of Shaft is likely to be up on the speed again and the scratching of Sixty Paces makes this an easier task for her.
Morado comes into this off a good run for second here last start and has not been far away in recent times.
The Paul Perry-trained runner has a good record at the course, having missed the placings just once in three outings and looks right up to winning a race like this.
Her effort last start rates pretty well against these and with Thomas Huet taking the ride for the first time she looks a big danger in this.
Former Anthony Cummings-trained runner Forewarned resumes for new yard today and finds himself back in grade and distance.
The six-year-old gelding will be looking for more ground than what is on offer today and will be required to carry 61kg.
Likely to need the run but is certainly one to keep an eye on in this field and would not be surprised to see him in the finish.
Other chances include the resuming Shalama who was last seen when not beating a runner home at Wyong last year.
Unplaced from two previous first up efforts and place looks best in this along with Red Room Of Pain.
