Already a winner at the course and distance, Polynikes looks a great chance of building on those records at Ipswich on Wednesday.
Water Boy was a convincing winner of the $100,000 BRC Maiden Plate at Doomben on the same day Polynikes resumed at the Gold Coast.
It was a soft win and clearly a career best effort.
The gelding has done an excellent job through a lengthy maiden preparation and can keep on winning here.
Skytastic has held form well this campaign which has included two solid displays at this course in his past three starts.
The son of Choisir tends to get back and will be running on strongly.
Right To Roam is another holding form well while Comacina was running on fairly first up in a Doomben Class 3 21 days ago.
The Dane Shadow gelding is another who will be fitter second up and running on late.
