Secret Minx can continue her unbeaten run this campaign when contesting the Total Plant Hire Class 5 Handicap at Pinjarra.
Secret Minx has commenced her latest campaign back under the care of Mark Nelson ideally, winning each of her starts, the latest at Albany over 1230m.
Her last start effort returned a Timeform rating of 82, two pounds clear of her prior best achieved when winning a Class 2 at Albany first up over 1050m.
Secret Minx in particular won her latest outing with what looked to be a bit up her sleeve suggestive the lightly-raced mare is open to further improvement.
She now looks to take another step through the grades contesting the Total Plant Hire Class 5 Handicap (1200m).
On latest form, it shapes as a suitable assignment for the daughter of So Secret who rates on top amongst this field on 50 day weight adjusted ratings.
The rising five-year-old should be fitter again and is drawn to receive all of the favours in transit from barrier 2.
The mare has proven in the past she is capable of being ridden both positively and quietly to good effect in the past which gives jockey Glenn Smith options from the inside draw.
It is largely expected however she will be prominent.
A number of her rivals are struggling for consistency at present, one of which is Miss Halloween.
The mare placed at this course and distance three back however has largely battled in efforts in either side.
The Justin Warwick-trained mare only battled off a freshen up over 1000m at Belmont eight days ago.
Added fitness second run from a freshen up and a return to her favourite track could spark improvement.
Pike in the saddle is another enhancement to the mares chances.
Miss Cyclonic resumes off a generous spell following a sound three start 2015 winter campaign.
The mare trialled well in readiness for this and seeing the Bar Plates removed for her first up showing could be considered a positive.
The ultra consistent Niccatrice has to be considered a value player considering he hasn’t finished out of the money in his past eight starts.
He is well drawn and comes in nicely at the weights after the 3kg claim of apprentice Fiona Bell.
Megafactory is another who is holding form with a string of placings who may be worth some thought.
They looked hard pressed though to beat Secret Minx who at present looks very much like a mare on the up.
