A sharp drop back in grade leaves the Stephen Gray trained Mr Mosa well placed to break back into the winner's stall at Singapore this evening.
Due to contest the fifth event, Mr Mosa has mixed his form in recent outings, however the drop back to Kranji Stakes D company should see him bounce right back to form.
Having joined Gray's care at the beginning of the year, Mr Mosa placed at his first three starts, before failing to place at his next four.
In his defence he lined up against far tougher company to what he faces here, worth noting he finished behind Singapore Gold Cup winner Bahana at his fourth start.
Mr Mosa's sole victory to date came over the mile and with 21 days between runs he appears set to perform well.
The Gray stable is in fine form and with Vlad Duric linking back aboard he certainly ticks a few boxes.
While giving weight away, Mr Mosa rates highly when assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings and looks to set a decent standard.
At his best he holds a distinct class edge and from the middle draw he should receive all the favours.
Expected to press forward and hold a prominent position, Mr Mosa is sure to be very hard to beat.
The Dan Meagher trained Sugartime Jazz steps up in grade but won well last start and has to be respected.
Despite only a narrow victory, there was plenty of merit to his performance and the step up to the mile is sure to aid his chances.
From five attempts at this trip, Sugartime Jazz has placed in four and while not a prolific winner, he is capable of fighting out the finish.
Oscar Chavez continues his association with the seven-year-old having placed in 13 of 33 attempts.
The wide draw is a slight concern, however he is expected to roll forward and shouldn't be too far away.
If able to repeat the level of his last start performance he shapes as one of the leading contenders.
The HK Tan trained Perfect Curiosity has mixed his form but is more than capable and has to be respected from the favourable draw.
Only relatively lightly raced he has placed in five of his 13 attempts and gives the impression he will appreciate the step up to the mile.
His performance to finish third behind Bach's Air two back leaves him right around the mark and if able to run up to that level of performance he has to be kept safe.
Of the rest the Alvin Tan trained Swift appears the next in line.
A distinct model of consistency in recent efforts, Swift has placed in six of his last seven attempts and comes into this off the back a solid fourth placing.
In 15 attempts over the mile, Swift has placed in nine and has placed in half of his attempts (18) at this track.
In-form jockey Danny Beasley links back aboard and from the good draw he is expected to make his presence felt.
