We will have to wait until the last of the day at Kranji on Sunday with Lim’s Zoom hard to beat in the Class 4 Non Premier over 1200m on the Polytrack.
The Mark Walker-trained runner has shown plenty of ability in his short career, yet to miss the placings from five career outings.
Lim’s Zoom returned in good order last start when running a close second over 1200m on the turf and Vlad Duric remains on board today which is an added bonus.
The four-year-old gelding has drawn much better today in barrier 3 and he should push forward again and settle on the speed like he has done all his career to this point.
Despite racing on the turf last start, Lim’s Zoom has had the one previous outing on the Polytrack when running third in a maiden last campaign.
The son of Zacinto is a very consistent galloper who only has the one win to his name but he is never out of the finish and in this field today he rates well clear of his rivals on weight adjusted ratings.
Honor is another consistent type who has struggled to win races but he has now placed in five of her last six outings, fourth on the other occasion.
The Lee Freedman-trained runner does her best racing on the polytrack and only just missed when running a very narrow second to Rich Fortune last start.
Has drawn well again today and she should find a very nice spot off the leaders and if she runs up to her last start effort is capable of pushing Lim’s Zoom over the concluding stages.
Fusion Power battled on okay to finish fourth over 1100m last start and he should appreciate the step up to 1200m now where he has placed on all four previous occasions.
Fusion Power was certainly outclassed in Group 1 company three starts back off some strong form prior and he has been far from disgraced in two runs since.
Looks another that will find a fairly nice run in transit from barrier six and he has shown enough in recent times to suggest he will be very competitive.
Unconquered is a long time between wins now but has been around the mark in recent times in tougher company on the polytrack.
Gets in well with the claim for apprentice jockey and he did finish third over this C/D which reads pretty well for a race like this.
Drawn nicely in barrier 2 and if he can get a good run throughout and find space at the top of the straight I would not be surprised to see him in the placings again.
Good luck!
