Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for August 11.

Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Sunshine Coast, Dubbo, Wagga, Echuca, Kalgoorlie, Hobart, Casterton and Port Hedland.

SUNSHINE COAST POLY: RACE 7 @ 4:48 PM

ONE IN ALL (6) has placed 2/2 this course and distance Has delivered a big Deagon trial win since last seen 36 days ago and maps for the run of the race. LES GIRLS (10) has gone close on the Gold Coast poly her last three and has weight relief. She can't be ruled out. I AM VOODOO (1) is back in class with a 3kg claimer engaged. His best would give him a chance. CROWN GUINEA (9) hasn't won for a long time but has turned in some eye-catching finishes this campaign. Don't overlook.
SELECTIONS: One In All the one to beat.

DUBBO: RACE 2 @ 1:05 PM

OUTBACK CRUMPET (4) won in a similar contest two back at Gunnedah before coming to town when having no luck from the draw finishing seventh over 1600m at Randwick in Highway company on July 13. At her top now and expected to race closer to the speed. ALWAYS SPLIT TENS (3) got off the mark at start seven before jumping in class and trip when a tiring fifth over 1600m at Scone on August 2. Blinkers come off and the visors go on. Well placed in this contest. HEMSTED (2) tough old gelding who was never comfortable in the heavy (9) going when 11th over 1500m at Muswellbrook on July 29. Fitter now and will relish the 4kg claim. CAREERING AWAY (7) doesn't win out of turn but has a handy record here. Failed to finish the race over 1800m at Bathurst on July 30. Not asked to do much when seventh in a recent 800m trial at Gilgandra on August 3. Slim place prospects.
SELECTIONS: Outback Crumpet to win.

WAGGA: RACE 6 @ 3:55 PM

CLEVER ART (3) made a handy return over a similar trip at Albury and will be fitter for this. Gets in well with the claim and this is a big chance for her. SUPER SUNNY SEEYA (4) was a popular winner at 1000m last time so brings winning form here. Record this trip is a worry but drawn to have every chance. SWEET PAREE (9) won twice before failing at Albury when favourite at 1400m last time. Back in trip and is lightly raced so entitled to another shot. MISS STALWART (8) and BONVALANTE (6) are worth thought.
SELECTIONS: Clever Art to win.

ECHUCA: RACE 4 @ 1:40 PM

MISS SWIFT (10) resumes and looks very well placed to take this out. She's raced twice to date, placing in a strong 2yo race at Caulfield Heath on debut behind the talented Ameena before tackling the G3 Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes at Flemington. Back in maiden grade here, she should go close. FRIDGE MONSTER (2) ran well on debut at Seymour over 1000m, beaten a long neck. Better for that and can challenge. CROWN LEGEND (8) is a Deep Field gelding on debut for the Nick Ryan yard who has jumped out well and is in the mix. VILLAINESQUE (7) resumes and has place claims.
SELECTIONS: Miss Swift to win.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 5 @ 4:53 PM

DONT WAIT FOR LUCK (3) resumed over this course and distance last start and bolted in, running on from midfield to win by 2.2L. He has a number of ratings higher than what he produced last start and while the outside draw is a niggle, he does have improvement to come. Can bring up back-to-back wins. KHALIDA (4) just missed in a CL1 first-up over 1100m here a fortnight ago and she usually improves with a run under her belt. She has the speed to cross from the alley and with further improvement expected, she can go one better. AMERICAN THIGHS (8) found a couple too quick over 1100m last start after winning narrowly from in front over this course and distance two back. She's likely to be prominent in the run once again from the inside alley and she'll be hard to catch with the 3kg claim. FIENDISH (11) is building nicely this campaign and is not to be discounted.
SELECTIONS: Don't Wait For Luck can win again.

HOBART: RACE 6 @ 3:32 PM

Competitive. KALIUWAA FALLS (4) was quickly back on track beaten 1L over 1400m. Has three wins over the trip and is proven third-up. SIR SIMON (5) went close and then led beating the above home. The veteran will have no trouble managing the extra metres and Pires will give him every chance from the inside barrier. JUST A NEEDS (8) spit the above pair and will be better for the outing. Won his only start at this course/trip and is also a player. ASHY BOY (3) will come into his own over further but he has won fresh and placed his only go at a mile. No surprise to see the Listed placegetter come home hard.
SELECTIONS: Backing Kaliuwaa Falls.

CASTERTON: RACE 4 @ 2:40 PM

MIGHTY OASIS (1) kept up his good record on this track when winning here a fortnight ago in a similar field. He gave a great steeplechasing display that day when leading all the way and only has to carry an extra kilo in weight this time. He is perfectly placed to repeat the dose. TOLEMAC (3) has been in the money in all of his four starts on this track and chased the top pick in vain last start when finishing runner-up. Aaron Kuru sticks with him and so do we. CROSSHILL (2) is an accomplished hurdler who has yet to break through over the bigger obstacles. He battled away for third at Pakenham 3 weeks ago and will appreciate getting back up in distance here. The winkers are back on and another honest effort can be expected. AQUILEON (5) ran a much better race when third in the same race as the top 2 picks here last start. He can race handy to the pace and should be right in the finish again.
SELECTIONS: Mighty Oasis to win.

PORT HEDLAND: RACE 7 @ 6:20 PM

AWESOME CHATTER (2) stepped up in distance and immediately found his best form with 2 wins on the bounce and both occasions he has led all the way and put a space on his rivals. He faces a similar field here and an extra 2 kilos should not be enough to stop him from winning again. OUR NORMAN (3) will be peaking third-up after 2 starts over trips that were short of his best. He will find this company more to his liking and he is expected to improve quickly and be right in the finish this time. ZADAR ROCK (10) has not really fired since winning here over a mile very easily 3 starts back. The distance could be the issue but his last win was too good to ignore so we will give him one more chance in this. HEZAZEB (1) likes it here and is racing honestly. He was no match for the top pick last time out and does meet that runner 2-kilos better off at the weight this time. Stick with him for a top 3 finish again.
SELECTIONS: Awesome Chatter to win.
