Champion squaregaiter Just Believe is primed and ready to continue his winning streak across the ditch in Tuesday afternoon's 2024 Dominion Trot in New Zealand.
The winner of over one-million-dollars had a successful debut campaign in New Zealand over April and May resulting in four wins including two Group 1 successes in the Rowe Cup and the Peter Breckon Memorial Trot.
The squaregaiter is no stranger to travel having made the trip to Sweden for the world's most prestigious harness race – the Elitloppet in 2023.
Trainer Jess Tubbs has been happy with how the squaregaiter has settled in ahead of the $400,000 event.
"(We are) very happy with the way he has travelled over to New Zealand," Tubbs said.
Just Believe made his way to Addington the scene for Tuesday's two-mile trip for a trial with standing start conditions to emulate the Group 1 event.
"His trial hit out was exactly what we wanted and he seems to be right on track for his main assignment next Tuesday," she said.
Just Believe has drawn two ahead of the $400,000 event.
The son of Heavens Above will join fellow Larajay farms stablemate, One Over All (four) and fellow Victorians the Chris Svanosio-trained Arcee Phoenix (six) and the Brent Lilley-prepared Kyvalley Hotspur (eight) on the front row.
