Opened in 1994, Tuen Mun Public Riding School is now one of Hong Kong's most popular venues for equestrian activities and its four stable blocks are home to some 100 horses. It is the largest public riding school managed by the Club, providing the public with opportunities to enjoy equestrian sport through a wide range of lessons, activities and visits. The school also supports the Riding for the Disabled Association, which provides therapeutic riding lessons for children and adults with disabilities.

In addition to operating three public riding schools, the Club also established The Hong Kong Jockey Club Equestrian Team, youth and children's squad, as well as para squad to develop the potential of Hong Kong, China's elite riders in collaboration with the Hong Kong Sports Institute and the Equestrian Federation of Hong Kong, China.
