Irish sprinter Russian Soul will not be coming to Singapore after connections have decided to withdraw him from the $1 million International Group 1 KrisFlyer International Sprint.
Trainer Michael Halford has advised that Russian Soul has not been working well since returning to Ireland from Dubai. Though disappointed, Halford and the owners have decided it was in the horse’s best interest to cancel the trip.
Following the withdrawal of Russian Soul, the KrisFlyer still remains a competitive race with 10 contenders, including four overseas and six local horses, left to battle it out on Sunday week.
