Four year old LAXON has a chance to double his win tally in the 1200m Open Novice contest this Sunday.
Laxon has been a consistent performer finishing in the top five in each of his nine career starts to date which includes one win and four minor placings. Since winning his maiden by five lengths back in May, the Shane Ellis trained galloper has performed admirably in the two heats of the SLTC 3YO series.
Laxon finished 3rd and 4th respectively in each heat, finishing two lengths behind local rising star Antipodean and will find Sunday's assignment much more to his liking.
