Nine-year-old galloper First bowl appears primed to bounce back to winning form in the 1020m Class 4B contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
First Bowl received every opportunity and closed off well under jockey Bernardo Pinheiro when finishing runner-up behind local newcomer, Limitless Roar over 1020m here a fortnight ago. The Lawson Moy-trained performer drew wide and had a tendency to hang in over the concluding stages, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner.
First Bowl has scored twice since returning to his original stable from Singapore, which includes a win over Sunday's track and trip back in June.
