Lightening Pearl is to be aimed at the 1000 Guineas following her victory in the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.
The Marju filly justified connections' decision to supplement her for the Group One event by giving trainer Ger Lyons his first success at the highest level.
Not surprisingly, she will not run again this season and goes to her winter quarters a best-priced 20-1 for Classic honours.
Lyons tweeted: "Horses fed and Lightening Pearl home, what a star, straight into her grub. What a great feeling to have won the Cheveley Park Group One. Humbled by amount of support."
He added: "That's her season finished folks. She will now be trained for the Guineas next spring."
