Russian Soul is likely to try to defy top weight in the boylesports.com Rockingham Handicap at the Curragh on Sunday.
The five-year-old could make a quick reappearance in the 100,000 euro premier handicap after putting up a decent display when second in a Listed race over six furlongs at Fairyhouse on Sunday.
"Russian Soul only ran at Fairyhouse on Sunday but he finished runner-up to a very decent sprinter in Sea Siren," said his trainer Michael Halford.
"He has come out of that race in great shape and it's a big pot on Sunday, so he is likely to turn out again."
A total of 33 horses were left in the ultra-competitive handicap following Tuesday's final forfeit stage, with 15 trained in Britain.
Two of them, Gary Moore's Dutch Masterpiece and the Declan Carroll-trained Whozthecat, have been installed as 10-1 joint favourites with the sponsors.
The possibles also include the first three home in last year's renewal - Bubbly Bellini, First In Command and An Saighdiur.
