Martin Brassil’s stable star will not line-up in the Grade 1 Savills Chase at Leopardstown on Thursday due to testing ground conditions.
The seven-year-old denied Gold Cup hero Galopin Des Champs in the Punchestown equivalent earlier in the year before beating the same rival on his reappearance in the John Durkan Memorial Chase last month.
However, a rematch between the pair will not be on the cards this afternoon after the trainer announced to Nick Luck that he will not be participating.
Brassil told Nick Luck: "I don't want him to have a grueller on used ground today – he'll come back for the Dublin Racing Festival."
Paddy Power make Galopin Des Champs a 6/4 chance to get back to winning ways at Leopardstown, with Gerri Colombe the 2/1 second favourite.
