  • Amateur jockey Alice Proctor remains in intensive care following a fall aboard Uggy Uggy Uggy at Cartmel on Saturday. The Injured Jockeys Fund issued a statement on Sunday, saying: "Amateur jockey Alice Procter had a fall at Cartmel Racecourse yesterday and immediately reported back pain. She was flown by helicopter to the major trauma centre at Royal Preston Hospital. Following scans, she was then taken to the operating theatre under the care of the spinal team. She is now in the ICU with her family in attendance. Further updates will be issued in due course."

  • Aidan O'Brien has confirmed Royal Ascot hero Auguste Rodin remains on course for the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes on Saturday. He will be returning to twelve furlongs for the first time since disappointing in Dubai earlier in the season and could be joined by stablemates Continuous and Luxembourg.

  • Juddmonte enjoyed a double on the card at the Curragh on Sunday, with the Ger Lyons-trained Babouche taking the Group 3 Jebel Ali Racecourse And Stables Anglesey Stakes to maintain her unbeaten record. She repelled favourite Camille Pissarro from the Aidan O'Brien yard in the closing stages under Colin Keane and could be a Classic filly for the future. Stablemate Red Letter earnt quotes of 14/1 for next year's 1000 Guineas after winning the Sycamore Lodge Equine Hospital Irish EBF Fillies Maiden earlier on the card. The filly was an easy four-length winner with the fancied Ballet Slippers back in third - a first foal out of multiple Group 1 winner Magical.

  • Karl Burke has enjoyed plenty of success in Ireland this season, including the Irish 1000 Guineas with Fallen Angel, and landed another big prize with Poet Master in the Group 2 Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. Although future targets have not yet been confirmed, Paddy Power shortened Poet Master from 33/1 to 12/1 for the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood.
