In a switch-around week Sunday afternoon the races are at Happ Valley

It's a day time meeting and we have to wait to the end for a Class 2 race, the Guangzou Handicap over 1200m with 12 runners.

Copartner Prance has a good record at the valley and looks like to stay favourite on 3.00 for Liu-Purton.  John Size's horses are starting to strike good form and Raging Blizzard here at 10.0 could be value with Brenton Avdulla riding.  Gorgeous Win has pleased the trackwork watchers this week and is on 8.9 for Shum-Poon.

Interesting to speculate how Romantic Warrior would have gone in the Cox Plate this year given Via Sistina's 8 lengths and record time win with Prognosis who was only a neck behind Romantic Warrior at their last meeting running second.
