And it has to be one of the most extraordinary editions of all time.

After 6.9 kms and 31 jumps it finished in a dead-heat for the first time ever and it may never happen again!

The winners were Sexy Lord on 6/1 Ruzeckova-Myska and Godfrey the 3/1 favourite Török-Faltejsek (giving the jockey a 7th win in the race with Dulcar de Sivola 11/1 third.

They were followed home by Star and Talent, both trained by Hana Kohalkova, and Santa Klara.

16 horses ran and 10 finished. Of the remaining six two fell, two were pulled up and two unseated the rider.  These latter two were the raiders Coko Beach who parted company with the. Jockey four out after having done very well up to that time, and Streets of Doyen parted with his jockey at the 8th.

The American raider Jeremy Pass was pulled up.
