Cirrus des Aigles a class above the competition

3 minute read

Cirrus des Aigles established a 10 lengths winning margin in the Grand Prix de Deauville over 2500m on soft ground.

France!

He's a lovely horse who has proven versatility over distances and terrains and will now go to the Prix

Dollar on Arc weekend. Silver Pond got second with Marinous third and English raider Ted Spread fourth.

The Quincey saw an upset with Zirbaa winning at 14/1 - by Anabaa out of a Linamix mare. Sandy's Charm

was a close second, with African Story 1 1/2 lengths back in third and Salto fourth.

The Prix de Meautry was a welcome win for 8yo veteran Marchand d'Or - he's always thereabouts but this

was the first win since May 2010. English raider Definightly was second at 10/1, Le Valentin third at 20/1

and Fred Lalloupot (who is a filly) fourth at 10/1 and not the worst by a long way.
