It's Chinese New Year this long weekend so we farewell the Rabbit at Kranji tonight and welcome the Dragon on Tuesday.

Top race tonight is Race 8, an Open over 1400m tonight with a great field of 9. Bossom has the ride on Gingerbread Man tonight and we expect him to get the better of Waikato tonight. Michael Freedman has two good runners who are heading for Dubai - The Comedian and Always Certain - so we will put them all into the top four etc.

On Tuesday we have the G3 Fortune Bowl over 2000m on the turf. Flying Fulton did the job nicely last time and seems to be worthy of another title. Mitre Peak is a nice horse on the way up, Parfumier is starting to put some runs together and Joyful Heart Man will have benefited from his last outing.

Race 11 the Family Reunion Open Benchmark 89 is over 1200 on the AWT. Mr Big looks like he might be too strong for the rest of the field but we will give Rafaga another chance and add People's Victory without enough confidence to add a fourth pick.
