Rocket Man has won his 4th Lion City Cup at Kranji Sunday without too much trouble at all.
Felix Coetzee settled him in just off the pace after a good start and then when they went round into the home straight he went to a four lengths lead and kept that through to the wire, with Better Be The One the nearest of the chasers, Mr Big and Ato the others to make up the top four.
The Admiralty Classic went to Flying West who went to the early lead and was well rated by Greg Cheyne to hold that lead through to the finish. Favourite Flying Fulton came flying home with Jamal Malik third and a good run from Jet Stream in fourth as he covered a lot of extra ground.
On Friday the Queen Elizabeth II Cup saw the old warrior Waikato score from New Rose Wood and a pleasing third from Flax who appears to have coped with the race quite well.
