Economics returned to the track on Thursday at Deauville in top form.

On his first start since winning the Dante in May (and not running at Epsom) he did all the right things in the Prix Guillaume d'Ornano G2 for jockey Tom Marquand who was full of praise for his horse post race.  The son of Night of Thunder will now probably head to the Irish Champion Stakes.

Second went to another raider in Jayarebe.

And more raider success in the Prix de Lieurey G3 when Soprano got the better of local hope Rose Bloom in the finish.
