Rewilding could be a chance in the Arc

RANCHERO (David Payne) - Lightly raced maiden by High Chaparral with abundant raw talent as he showed last Saturday at Randwick with his first-up third over 1800m when racing well out of his class in a race that was gifted to the on pace winner. He's been given plenty of time to mature and there is only one way he can go as he gains more experience and confidence. He has absolutely no idea what he is doing at the moment but will win a nice race one day and wet surfaces will be no hindrance given the breeding.

SPORT CHIC (Clinton McDonald) - Won well at Caulfield then started favourite last time at first try at 1400m at Flemington. Didn't have the best of luck but really hit the line hard when clear. Hard to beat next time or if she spells looks a ready-made miler as a spring three-year-old.

'Aspro'

YOU THINK SO (Michael Kent) - No it is not meant as a joke given the name as this 3yo ran very well last week at Flemington. He got a long way back over 2000m but gradually worked into the race and only went under by about ½ length. Keeps improving in ratings as the distances rise and given the breeding that should only continue. May even be better next time in.

REWILDING (Saeed bin Suroor) - Godolphin's 4yo claimed the G1 Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot when resuming on Wednesday. Rewilding caused a boilover as he defeated none other than So You Think which is no easy task. The Tiger Hill entire has recorded strong figures at his past two runs and his latest victory means he is now a dual G1 winner having taking out the Dubai Sheema Classic in March. This colt could be headed towards the prestigious Arc in October at Longchamp and has shown the ability to win the event. Reportedly likes his runs spaced out so expect Rewilding to race again next month.

COLLAR (Robert Hickmott) - Saw a lovely but green two year old emerge from the Elvstroem Classic at Swan Hill - a race which has thrown up the top drawer. He might need time and hence the lateness of the debut may indicate that. But given that time, he could develop into a staying type in a Derby this moment last year. Out of a Zabeel mare who was beaten a half head in a Caulfield Cup behind Sky Heights, he may strengthen up into a good horse.

ZOFFANY (Aidan O'Brien) - Could hardly have run better behind Frankel in the St James's Palace and while the winner's effort may have been affected by the ride, it was no knock on this horse in running home hard. It was his first crack at the mile and ran it out nicely. Already a G1 winner in Ireland, if Aidan finds a race away from tackling Frankel and Canford Cliffs we can collect.
