Winning Trainer: Ben, Will & JD Hayes (rep by Rahis Baig)
Previous runs: "Each time it was a step up in class and he took it by the scruff, he just jumped, put himself there and a good ride by Blake.
"He used his natural speed to be positive and he did the rest.
"I think the 1100 race tempo suits this horse. He can just race a touch keen and, you know, sometimes that can take the finish away from him. But as we saw, 1100 was perfect today.
"Hopefully the Ladbrokes bar's got enough space for the (ownership) people. There' s 40 owners here. Congratulations to them."
Winning Jockey: Blake Shinn
"I think he's just held his form, probably a little bit more mature, having the benefit of race experience. He's a lovely horse, this guy, and made that transition from maiden to 64 grade today.
"It's not easy to do, but when the chips were down there at the 200, he rallied hard and got the job done.
"He would be in Hong Kong (if he had) passed the vet, but they' ve teamed up with Ladbrokes and I think everyone's going to have a lot of fun with him here.
The horse's positive characteristics: "At the first start, he wasn't lovely, he did a lot wrong, but he won. He applied himself a lot better today, and full credit to the team.
They just tinkered putting a bit of a rubber bit on him and made the job a bit better for me as his rider. He's got good speed and he's tough. He rallies hard when the pressure's on and that's a sign of a decent horse, and that's a sign of a decent horse.
"He's in good hands and they'll place him right to keep going through the grades."
