John O'Shea will look towards the Group 1 $1 million Golden Rose with Skyline Stakes winner Ashokan, who stepped out in a Randwick barrier trial over 835m on Monday.
Ashokan, who finished 12th in the Golden Slipper stopped the clock at 48.6 seconds over the unraced King Of Olympia, with Street Justice back in third.
O'Shea said Ashokan will have just the one run in the Group 2 Run To The Rose before the feature race at Rosehill which will be run on September 15.
The unraced Charge Account was also impressive for O'Shea, winning his trial by 4.8L in 48.1 seconds and is likely to debut over the coming weeks.
Gai Waterhouse also had a good day out at the trials which was led by two-year-old filly kuchinskaya who won her trial by five lengths with stablemate No Looking Back in third place.
New stable acquisition Rock 'N' Pop was also handy when winning his trial over 1050m and will be set for the Group 1 Epsom Handicap (1600m) later on in the year.
The New Zealand Derby placegetter, formerly with the Jason Bridgam stable had just the one run in Australia when eighth in the Rosehill Guineas before being transferred to the Waterhouse stable and appears to be coming along well for his Spring campaign.
