Exciting two-year-old She Will Reign was a big winner for punters at Randwick on Saturday.
She Will Reign ($2-$1.90) was smashed in betting with the TAB and those that took the price were never concerned, the filly racing away for a dominant victory.TAB customers lined up back to her and she held 60 per cent of the total investment, three times more popular then the next best-backed, Serena Bay ($8-$7).
Diamond Tathagata ($71-$41) and African Rainbow ($71-$61) filled the minor placings and had light specking.Of the others Vinland ($4.60-$5.50) was the only other runner to attract any decent money.
Bets: She Will Reign $10.500 @ $1.95, $9000 @ $1.90.Destiny's Kiss was also a horror result for the TAB despite a betting drift.Coming from last on the turn, the noted wet tracker landed some good bets in beating Iggi Pop ($6.50-$4.50) and Danjeu ($9.50-$14).
Destiny’s Kiss held over a third of all bets on the race and was twice as popular as the well-supported Iggi Pop.Soviet Courage ($4.80-$7) attracted good money once it got out to the $6-$7 range while My Psychiatrist ($9.50-$8) had backing as it did last week but couldn’t repel the challengers.
Bets: Destiny’s Kiss $6000 @ $5, $5000 @ $5.Fabrizio ($3.20-$2.50-$2.65) was a costly conveyance for punters after going out as popular pick as favourite.Holding almost half of all bets on the race, Fabrizio compounded after racing on the speed.
Sense Of Occasion ($26-$35) was generally unwanted in this with only one other horse holding less money than it.He burst through late to beat Dibayani ($14-$10) which had good specking late while Sarrasin ($16-$26) wound up third.
Pajaro was the other to firm up during the day from $15 to $10.Bets: Fabrizio $5000 @ $2.50, $3000 @ $2.60 multiple times; Pajaro $2000 x $3000 e/w @ $10/$3
