A progressive home track three-year-old can arrest a long wait for a third career win at Monday's feature Albury meeting.
Super Sunny Seeya ($2.70 on TAB) had no luck resuming at this track 17 days ago in a Benchmark 58 Hcp when trapped wide all the way.
That day he carried a hefty 60.5kg, but drops down to 56kg for this next test, with Jack Martin taking over in the saddle.
Popular local trainer Rob Wellington has also rebooted the gelding's campaign with a string of gear changes, including blinkers going back on, for a competitive Class 3 Hcp over 1000m.
By prolific sprint sire Rubick, Super Sunny Seeya was earmarked for big things when he easily won twice in his first prep early last spring.
Yet since then, amid plenty of luckless and near misses, things haven't gone to plan.

Naturally, at the pointy end is the rival home track stable of in-form Ron Stubbs who will be eyeing off another potential double.
Tough three-year-old He's My Warrior ($3.40) is also overdue for a second career win having placed in his last three, twice at the provincials before just missing at this track after being heavily backed from $4.20 into $2.80.
He now tackles a Class 1 Hcp over 1400m and is second favorite in betting behind Wangaratta-based first-up winner King De Lune at $2.40.
The Stubbs camp should also have a big hand in a BM 58 Hcp (1175m) to close the meeting.
Tough six-year-old Magmetric ($5.50) second-up, and at bigger odds underrated mare Wanaloan ($6) fourth-up; are both nearing overdue wins.
