3 minute read

Oscar Piastri joins the Australian winners of an F1 Grand Prix alongside Daniel Ricciardo, manager Mark Webber and world champs Jack Brabham and Alan Jones.

The last win by an Australian before Piastri's breakthrough was Daniel Ricciardo's triumph, also for McLaren, in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in September 2021. Piastri replaced Ricciardo at the British team at the start of 2023.
