Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Grafton, Newcastle, Tatura and Gatton.
GRAFTON: RACE 2 @ 12:55 PM
AMAYA'S SECRET (4) exciting filly who created a big impression at second run back when a slick winner over 1015m at this track on September 9. Has a ton of upside and will go close again with Fitzgerald's claim from the good gate. ASK THE QUESTION (1) well supported on debut when a commanding winner over 1000m at Coffs Harbour two-and-a-half weeks ago. Further improvement to come but has to contend with a sticky draw. LOVE FOR ASHER (2) fourth up for this and a win looks imminent. Came out fast from the wide gate before being nailed on the line when second over 1115m at this track on September 9. Senior rider on and due for a change of luck. SOYOUTHINKIT'SOVER (3) made progress finishing midfield last start at this track when well supported, looks suited and worth including.

NEWCASTLE: RACE 3 @ 2:25 PM
FORCE RED (5) is back from a year on the sidelines. Stared at $101 but was beaten just 1.2 lengths in Espionage's Breeders Plate over 1000m at Randwick at his only appearance. Has transferred from Snowden to Maher and is trialling well. Perfectly placed to break through. A couple of unraced runners are sure to attract interest. Exceedance gelding GATTODANCE (6) is trialling well for Team Hawkes and should enjoy a lovely run from the nice draw. Supido filly CONFEDERATE LADY (10) was edged out on her latest trial and looks above average. ENHANCE (14) returns from a spall and has been gelded. Recent trial winner so he may have turned the corner this prep. OCEAN JOY (12) led before tiring to finish third on debut here at this trip recently. Sure to give them something to catch.

TATURA: RACE 3 @ 2:30 PM
FINALE (7) fought hard narrowly beaten at Geelong first-up. She has more to give and rates to break through in this line-up. DUCKIE (6) peaks and assess her chances on the impressive placing at Wangaratta two back. May be ridden a bit quieter today and is a chance. GREAT PROSPERITY (2) has been kept on the fresh side since the improved effort on the synthetic. Hard fit and isn't without claims. YOU LITTLE NIPPER (10) peaks and has more to offer. Prefer her back to a sprint and maps for a soft run in transit.

GATTON: RACE 4 @ 2:34 PM
CHIARO DI LUNA (6) is a consistent mare hitting the top-five at her past 11 starts and strikes a very winnable contest here. Has placed over this journey and looks the one they all have to run down. PROCLAIMER (9) hasn't been too far away in recent efforts and should find this easier than what he has been contesting. Respect from the Freedman stable. WAYFARER'S WAY (8) strips fitter second-up and gets Collett back on from the favourable draw. Should be about the money. BLAZIN' DE QUO (3) was safely held on debut last start but could sneak a place here.
SELECTIONS: Chiaro Di Luna to finally shed the maiden tag.
