Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for October 26.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Moonee Valley, Doomben, Morphettville, Ascot.
RANDWICK: RACE 9 @ 5:30 PM
YELLOW BRICK (7) smart Queensland trained gelding who gave them a galloping lesson second up when a commanding 2.25 len victory with the 60kg over 1400m in the LR Tattersall's at Eagle Farm on October 12. Drawn to stalk the solid tempo with Tim Clark aboard today and expected to prove too strong again. AMOR VICTORIOUS (6) undefeated at this track and pulled out plenty when a gritty winner of the G2 Shannon Stks over 1500m at Rosehill on September 28. Kept up to the mark with a 1200m tick over trial and he looks to have strong top three claims again. IKNOWASTAR (11) proven in this company and comes out of a strong race after going out hard from a sticky draw first up when a fighting fifth over 1400m in the Allan Brown at Rosehill. Extra trip helps and King retains the ride from the low draw. Major player. PUNCH LANE (13) sat on the good tempo and failed to finish off when a tiring ninth over 1400m in the Allan Brown at Rosehill. Cross over nose band goes on and improvement expected.
SELECTIONS: Yellow Brick to win.

MOONEE VALLEY: RACE 7 @ 3:40 PM
OSCAR'S FORTUNE (2) looks the one to beat. It wasn't the strongest G2 Schillaci Stakes he ran second in at his Melbourne debut but this doesn't look any stronger and it took a smart 3yo to beat him there. Second up last campaign in Perth he beat Amelia's Jewel at Ascot before placing in The Quokka behind Overpass which is outstanding form. MORNINGTON GLORY (3) won the G1 Moir Stakes two back over 1000m before fading quite badly in the Schillaci last time. He can improve but 1200m remains a genuine query. BARAQIEL (8) is a progressive type off a strong BM84 win last start. This is a decent leap in grade at set weights. I AM UNSTOPPABLE (5) resumed for the new camp and ran on well at Warwick Farm with 60kg. He was a good 3yo who will be hard to hold out.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Oscar's Fortune.
DOOMBEN: RACE 10 @ 6:18 PM
BETTCHA THE CROWN (9) raced handy and looked a chance all the way down the running but missed out narrowly when resuming over this course and distance three weeks ago. Up in class but gets some weight relief. Only needs a bit of luck from the sticky gate to be right in the finish again. Genuine gelding BLAKMAX (4) led but was collared late in a Class 6 over 1400m at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago. Draws his best barrier for some time. Track and distance specialist who is a huge threat. SHA OF GOMER (5) continues to thrive in Queensland for Waller. Battled on bravely again under a big weight at Eagle Farm last time but was edged out at the end of 1400m. Expecting more of the same. NED'S GULLY (1) has been thereabouts all prep in better races than this. Very fit and gets his chance. I AM ARTIE (6) has won each of his five races since coming back from a 14-month spell for new trainer Paul Jenkins. Steps up another level today but a sixth straight win is a real possibility.
SELECTIONS: Bettcha The Crown to win.
MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 5 @ 3:17 PM
LAVISH THINKER (1) was an eye-catcher two back at Sandown-Hillside when beaten 0.6L in a blanket finish. Was poised to make a statement last start on the Parks track but hit a flat spot in the lane, before picking back up late to fill the frame. Has been freshened with a 35-day break. The one to beat. RABTAT (3) is going well. Arrived just in time two back in what has proven a strong form race, and then closed off nicely into the placings here last start. Will appreciate the added trip and has Pannell sticking. Main danger. THEODOR (4) strips fitter third-up and draws kindly as he steps out in trip a month between runs. Could improve sharply. EXOPIPI (7) was a complete forgive last start when retiring from the race. Has since headed back to the trials and is up to this on best form.
SELECTIONS: Lavish Thinker is the one to beat.
ASCOT: RACE 3 @ 4:49 PM
LET'S TALK (7) stepped up to this grade last start and went close when only 1.2L over 1100m here a fortnight ago. Suspect he'll be better again now as he continues to learn the caper and if he can continue on his current trajectory, he'll prove very hard to beat. AIN'T NO OTHER MAN (1) had plenty of favours last start when back to this grade, getting the job done by 0.6L. He beat home Let's Talk last time out, but there is a weight swing against him today, Despite that, he looks to get plenty of favours once again and should be going close to winning. HEZANGELIC (4) dropped back in grade last start and ran some good figures despite going under, beaten 0.7L. He wasn't far away in this grade two back when a 2-1 chance and he is still improving. Can put himself in the finish. SWIM THROUGH (2) gets Pike back in the saddle today and is sure to be closing off strongly. EMPRESS OF INDIA (3) is better than she showed last start and can bounce back.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Let's Talk.
