Best bets from Rosehill on San Domineco Day.

Another exciting card at Rosehill where we see the three-year-olds take centre stage in the Group 3 San Domenico Stakes (1100m) and the Group 3 Up And Coming Stakes (1300m).
Looking to strike early in the day in the TAB Highway Handicap (1400m), with the consistent Super Norwest.

The Matt Dale trained mare is deep into her preparation and finds the right Highway contest to breakthrough from the soft gate. Super Norwest had to work hard early from the wide gate over the 1300m here last start, before being nabbed late by the progressive Intervarsity in a strong rating race.

Today, the Rich Enuff mare steps out to the 1400m for the first time and should get a comfortable lead early with Tim Clark doing the steering, and prove too good for her rivals in this easier contest. Well supported in early betting, the current quote of around $3.50 looks great value.

The next best comes up in Race 5, the Cabra-Vale Diggers Handicap (1500m), with the Chris Waller trained Up And Under.

The imported son of Lope De Vega returned for his second Australian preparation when having no luck from back in the field running into dead ends inside the final 250m. 

James McDonald rides tomorrow and he's been heavily supported since markets went up on Wednesday afternoon.

Expecting him to race a little closer from the good gate and assert his class late.
