Coming off a career best first up performance last start sees the Grant Williams trained Ranger well in line to break his long winning drought when he contests the Group 3 Belmont Sprint on Saturday.

Having proven a somewhat disappointment during the Summer features at Ascot earlier this year the now six-year-old appears back on track and close to the form which saw him finish second in the Group 1 Kingston Town Stakes in 2011.

While he failed to defeat Power Princess in the Group 3 Roma Cup his performance was outstanding after making his run from the tail of the field to fly home late and just miss.

Returning a Timeform figure of 113, it was his clear best first up performance and considering it was only three pounds shy of career peak performance he is simply flying this time in.

With half of his career victories coming over the 1400m journey the step up in trip will no doubt suit Ranger right down to the ground and it appears very unlikely that any horse who finished behind him last start will be able to turn the tables.

Currently trading at $3 across the board he presents a great betting proposition as his main danger Playing God will be forced to do it the hard way from one of the outside stalls.

In a race with limited chances expect him to start closer to 6-4 on track and should just be winning.

Leading West Australian trainer Simon Miller looks to get punters off to a flier with talented three -year-old War Prince set to make his return in the third race of the afternoon.

Having proven himself as one of the leading three-year-olds in WA last time in with form around the likes of The Rising, Dueton and Dominating he is one the more exciting prospects from the Miller stable and isn't far off talented stablemates Hard Ball Get and Grey Cheval.

While he has only been seen at the races on four occasions he proved ultra impressive at the back end of his last preparation boasting two effortless victories in very quick time.

Given time by Miller to make further progression he is expected to have come back bigger and stronger this time in which presents a grave problem for his rivals.

Already rated well clear of his rivals on his prior form if able to produce a new career best performance he would simply demoralise them.

No knock on Baleen In Me as she profiles as a nice filly but simply can't see her making enough improvement off her last start to trouble War Prince.

Anhing Adingding is the interesting runner as he is set to make his debut off the back of two solid trial wins. Obviously looks to possess a bit of talent but given Patrick Carbery has jumped off him to ride War Prince that must give a firm push towards the favourite.

TAB Sportsbet are offering the best price across the board at present currently trading at $3.40. This is luxurious odds as he appears closer to an even money chance and wouldn't be surprised to see him start odds-on.

Iseethingsyoudon't lived up to his market support last start when proving too good first up streaking his rivals over 1200m.

Although it does appear an impressive victory on paper the Timefigures out of the race proved quite poor and he looks a good risk at the short odds on Saturday.

Anchored with the topweight from a wide draw looks set to bring about the demise of Iseethingsyoudon't as it doesn't appear that he will find the lead as easy as he did last start.

Adding to that he also concedes weight to a number of handy types including The Blues, Rantorini, Uncle George and New Time.

There is no doubt that Iseethingsyoudon't is a horse on the rise however at the current quote of $2.35 it appears a poor betting prospect and he is worth risking.
