The current heavy track at Randwick will make things difficult for punters but there still appears to be some very good chances around.
Former UK galloper, Fulgur now with the Chris Waller stable has been in very good form since coming to Australia.
He has finished in the money all five starts for Waller, winning her last two at Moonee Valley in fine fashion and looks set to continue that trend on Saturday.
Drops back to the mile but was good over the 1700m last start and looks very hard to beat again with Waller edging closer to the record.
Fulgur is proven on Slow and heavy going and currently at $4.20 looks to be very hard to beat.
Chewychop has shown plenty of ability in his short career, finishing in the money all four runs to date. Finished third at this C/D last start behind Red Excitement and Single Style but meets them both better at the weights.
Has had just the one start on a wet track which yielded a win on debut at Newcastle and he certainly has more upside than most of these.
He rates well in this company and his highest Timeform figure of 101, which he ran two starts back will see him win again here.
Likely to push forward from the wide draw and will take plenty of running down. He currently holds favouritism at $3.00.
Border Rebel has failed to win a race in well over a year now and despite dropping back from group company comes up against a few handy runners.
Willing to take him on as the current favourite with the likes of Soledad, Oakfield Commands and See The World likely to be very hard to hold out.
