The Grant Williams stable appear set to continue their hot run of form this weekend with progressive mare Celebrity Miss well placed to return to the winner's stall.

Having proven game in defeat behind the highly touted Smoko last start the daughter of More Than Ready appears a weighted special on Saturday as she is currently rated five pounds clear of her nearest rival without even factoring in Chris Parnham's two-kilogram claim.

Given plenty of time to mature, Celebrity Miss has dually rewarded the Williams teams' patience having improved 21 pounds this time in.

More notably the fact she was beaten less than 3L by Smoko last start is a strong push in itself as he won his first two starts by a combined margin of 9L.

Early markets had the four-year-old rated a 6-4 chance before that price was quickly snapped up with even money the best on offer at this current time.

Though don't be disheartened if you have missed the price as we have her rated closer to a $1.60 chance and expect her to keep shortening come race day.

It is quite clear she is a galloper on the upward spiral and is expected to have no trouble disposing of her rivals on the weekend and presents a great early steal.

While I was happy to oppose her first up the Simon Miller trained Platinum Rocker appears a more than gamble in the get out stakes.

Returning from a spell in great order last the daughter of Love A Dane proved very game in defeat when only caught late over the concluding stages.

With her fitness proving the only chink in her armour it is clear she has returned in great order this time in as her performance returned a new career peak.

Given she has saluted at three of four attempts over this trip it is clear she will no doubt improve further stepping up to the seven furlongs and although drawn a shade awkwardly there doesn't appear to a be a great deal of speed in the race and is expected to roll forward.

Currently rated an 11/4 chance across the board she presents a great betting proposition as we have her rated closer to a 6-4 chance and given her winning strike rate is 71% you can bet up with confidence.

The Stephen Wolfe trained King Closet appears a safe risk in the first race of the day with a number of gallopers rated clear of the son of So Secret.

Having finished second at both starts to date he does appears to have more upside than most on paper however the form out of both races has proven quite weak.

Although disappointing last start Airglow was impressive on debut, Spin Da Wheels was a real eye catcher last time out and both Take Us There and Formidable Storm possess some handy form from their respective maiden preparations.

With an obvious lean towards one these other four horses taking out the first race it is clear King Closet is a poisoned price at $2.90 and is worth taking on.
