Some very handy form as a juvenile see's the Lou and Dion Luciani trained Flying Zoe very well placed to make a winning return at Belmont on Saturday.
Not been seen since finishing well back behind Ms Funovits in the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate the daughter of Street Boss has shown plenty of ability in her short career to date and may have just struggled to see out the six furlongs last start.
Having created a big impression on debut when coming from a long way back at Ascot to showcase her sharp turn of foot, Flying Zoe would then go on to finish a close fourth behind Champion 2YO Camporella, form that reads very well for Saturday's affair.
While allotted the topweight on Saturday she still rates well clear on best form and the engagement of the in-form William Pike is a genuine push for her chances.
The decision by connections not to trial her is very interesting as although completely on spec it gives the impression that she has come back in great order and they didn't want to show their hand prior to making her return to the races.
Given plenty of time to strengthen up and mature off a break she is expected to have come back bigger and better and if that is the case than she simply should prove far too good for her rivals on Saturday.
Unbeaten fresh and a victor of two of three attempts over 1000m just further enhance her claims and at the current quote of 2-1 she shapes as a great betting proposition as we have her rated closer to a 6-4 chance.
WA powerhouse trained Simon Miller possesses a fantastic record with horses making the switch from other stables and given this horse is rated well clear on Saturday we believe So Symbolic is one of the better bets we have seen for some time.
Formerly trained by Gai Waterhouse, So Symbolic has proven quite impressive in his seven career starts career and although obviously riddled with niggling issues there's no denying that at his best his is lobbed in on Saturday.
On raw form he rates between five and 10 pounds clear and have been happy enough with his recent trials leading up to this.
Opening a 3-1 chance on Saturday in early markets does appear over the odds as if able to produce anywhere near his best we see him more as an even money chance.
Expect the betting ring to reveal how well he is in fact travelling and if there is any support come Saturday be sure to follow it in.
While having saluted at his past four starts we predict When We Were Kings run of victories to come to an end on Saturday as he does appear up against it at the weights.
On weight adjusted ratings we have Tax A Million, New Time, Keepers Court and Almachino all rated ahead of him and hence at his current quote of $2.30 we are more than happy to take him on.
