Best From The West - April 26

3 minute read

The Daniel Pearce trained Testamezzo proved very impressive when notching up back to back victories last start and appears poised to notch up the hat-trick at Ascot on Saturday.

Successful in notching up his seventh victory from 10 career starts the son of Testa Rossa has really taken the next step this time in with his last start performance successful in recording a new career peak.

Rising considerably in the weights on his last start win shapes as a fair obstacle however the step up in trip will definitely aid his chances and he still appears ahead of his mark at this point in time.

From the awkward draw expect Peter Knuckey to just flop him out and attempt to settle him down midfield before unleashing his fast finishing burst in the straight.

The Simon Miller trained Saint Bro was simply outsprinted over the shorter trip last start and is expected to show sharp improvement stepping up to six furlongs on Saturday.

His form last time in proved very impressive up to the mile and while he is still expected to prove better later on in this campaign he still appears very well placed in this line up.

From the fair draw he is expected to roll forward and park just off the speed and prove very hard to hold out in the straight.
