Another slow rated track sees the Morphettville Parks circuit having to cope with weeks of damp conditions.

The Darren Weir stable are just picking off these SA races and a border hopper to strongly note is Refill.

The gelding by Reset was not beaten far at his last start after winning first up at Mildura. The Reset’s love rain affected tracks as well.

He’s ready third up at 1400m, gets an inform Harry Coffey and his claim along with that. Hard to see him not getting a superb run from an inside draw.

We might even get closer to 3-1 by race time with money for other runners.

One horse who will love an affected track is The Jazz Singer. The gelding couldn’t get into the race at Moonee Valley on dead going three weeks ago.

But importantly his form on Slow and Heavy going is excellent. While this is a BM90 graded race, reality is it is a country standard affair.

He does get back in his races but the small field means he won’t have too much traffic. Like the fact Mick Kent has sent him over here where it is easier and he has the limit weight.

Have to risk Buddy Bundy as he takes on a better field to last time and goes up in weight.

This is a similar style race to last time but the quality of the entries is better as maybe some of these head to the Lightning Stakes (old Dermody Stakes) in a fortnight.

A few of these resumers have ability and are getting weight off Buddy. He probably leads again but may have more company this time.
