Though unable to feature during her three starts in Victoria, her form was still very good and saw her record a new career peak in the Listed Alexandra Stakes.

Remaining off a mark of 78, appears the biggest push for her chances as on best form she does look to have a distinct edge on her rivals.

There are a few knocks — the blinkers come off on Saturday for the first time and generally Miss Rose De Lago has improved with racing in the past.

Nonetheless at her current quote of 3-1 she does appear worthy of a throw at the stumps, as we can price her as short as 6-4.

The fact she started a shorter quote in the Group 3 Typhoon Tracey Stakes, also suggests she is likely to firm come raceday.

Simon Miller is striking at over 20 per cent with horses racing first up and Miss Rose De Lago is expected to be very hard to beat.
