Queen Of The lochs has returned to racing in good order and will be looking to make it two wins in as many starts when stepping out at Doomben on Saturday
The Mick Mair-trained runner resumed with a very narrow third before leading all the way to win over 1200m at this course last start.
Queen Of The Lochs (Race 5 #3) goes up slightly in trip on that effort where she has won previously and looks to have strong claims once again.
The four-year-old mare has a good career record, having won six of her 15 starts, placing on a further five occasions and her last start win rates on top today.
Apprentice jockey Luke Tarrant stays on board and claims a much needed 1.5kg claim and from barrier 9 should go forward again and take plenty of running down.
Shiraz Attack who was disappointing last start looks the biggest danger and could bounce back to form today with the blinkers going on first time.
Later in the day Gundy Spirit (Race 6#4) looks a good each way bet having won three of his last four outings.
The Tony Gollan-trained runner has been racing in terrific form of late, winning his most recent at this C/D after he was blocked for a run.
Has a very good record over the distance range and Tim Bell who rode the horse last start stays on board for this.
The current price on offer of $8 looks to be very good value based on his recent efforts and he looks a strong each way chance.
The lightly raced Abaddon has won both races this campaign and has a good career record and is among the hardest to beat however needs to make another step up today.
Gundy Spirit should settle around midfield from barrier 5 and would expect him to be right in the finish of this one.
Last week saw out bet of the day What About Me run a very disappointing race when finishing a distant last whilst the each way play Speed Sam finished midfield.
