After a good weekend last week, Saturday is the last meeting before the Adelaide Cup on Monday so we’re searching for a bank.

In a really good 1000m sprint with several recent winners, looking for one who will sit just off the speed and use his late dash.

Rifleman has been switched to Adelaide for his resuming run and that looks a very good option.

He has a top first up record winning at Randwick last July as well as two previous wins and a second to none other than Lankan Rupee.

With a good tempo ensured via Periduki, and a small field, he won’t get too far back and only carrying 54.5kg after the claim means he’s so well placed.

Still looks a great bet even having to take the odds.

Then later Go Dreaming backs up after a close second when leading last week behind Kourkam.

That form seems to be good enough to set him up well for a race over this distance at which he goes even better.

He did win a similar BM90 race at Morphettville in October by three lengths when right on the speed.

Further down in the weights and Clare Lindop up means we’re happy to back him each way.
