Big fields most of the day will test the punters back to the main Morphettville track which will conduct the majority of the races.

How can you not like the way Red Eclipse is going? This six year old has recaptured his best in two dominant wins at the same course and distance.

Sitting back in good sized fields, he pulled to the outside and charged over them.

This race isn’t that much harder and with the speed on, he will be doing similar things this weekend.

Something has just clicked for him since he changed states.

Glaneuse is an old boy and maybe a light of other days but the two runs back have shown some renewed vigor.

He was just a length back in stronger carnival races at Warrnambool and Swan Hill and he’s actually well placed on his best form which admittedly was some time ago.

However this isn’t a strong race and with the claim you could see him running a race good enough to win.
