It is a disappointing day at Morphettville with very small fields throughout the program. Hope it’s a profitable one though.

How can you not like Flying Casino as a horse?

He won’t make the annuls of racing history but you’d love to own him. Without a break since early December, he’s raced during every month with little let ups and put in most times.

Placing his last eight starts, as long as he gets these mile and a half trips, he surges late.

The final furlong is always his best and won’t be doing any work in the run so the weight won’t be that much of a factor.

Peacefuleasyfeelin was second to him and meets him better at the weights but there was nearly two lengths margin on the line last time they met. There might be support for others and give us an even better price.

There could be some value in the form of Our Hand Of Faith in the mile BM90 handicap.

He hasn’t won for a while which is some concern but is always up in the weights and getting back in competitive races.

With the small field he will never be far from the leaders and the run two back at the Parks track was very sound indeed.

He drew wide and so had to go back. A long run was required and the on-pacers dominated the finish bar him. The form has stood up since.

A soft track is fine as is the mile and this far into a prep now he is ready.
