The Grant Williams trained See Me Sizzle broke through for an impressive maiden win at Northam last start and appears well placed to go back-to-back at Belmont on Saturday.

Due to line up in the fifth event, the son of Snitzel followed up on his handy performance on debut when too strong on-speed over 1400m.

Admittedly the front-runners were favoured by the slow early tempo, however See Me Sizzle's win still held plenty of merit.

While there is not a great deal of exposed form to work with on Saturday, he is one of only two winners engaged and rates on top following his last start effort.

Although receiving no favours from the draw, however there doesn't appear to be much speed engaged and he should be able to cross and lead or take a sit in the box-seat.

This season Pike is on fire striking at 27% and notably is striking at 29% with the Grant Williams stable.

On favourites William Pike is striking at 50% and has run at a POT of 35.3%, in summary it has paid very well to side with Pike.

Currently installed a $3.30 chance appears a more than worthy gamble as we have See Me Sizzle installed the odds-on favourite in our market.

The Grant Williams stable is striking at 38% this season and while likely to regress to the mean at some point, for now we suggest you stick with him.

The Adam Durrant trained Zuccheros caught the eye late in the piece over 1200m last start and appears set to relish the step up in trio in the seventh event,

A dominant winner two back, the son of Hurricane Sky is clearly racing in great form this time in and the decision by Pike to link back aboard is a firm push for his claims.

In 18 starts at Belmont, Zuccheros has placed in 10 and while his record over 1400m isn't flash his last two performances over this trip have been very good.

Although a fairly open race on paper, if able to produce his best Zuccheros sets a decent standard and appears a worthy gamble.

We have marked the 6-4 favourite and with as much as 5-2 available he is well worth a play.
