Need to rebound a bit on Goodwood day and big fields are the order once again.

We’re going to kick things off with the two year old in the First as Godolphin bring a New Approach colt over from Melbourne.

Dissolute was unlucky not to finish a lot closer at Caulfield three weeks ago.

He jumped strongly off gate one but took a sit on the leaders and it all went badly from there.

Unable to hurdle them from the 400m, he got no momentum and on breeding he would be a strong finisher.

This barrier does look perfect as he will simply track up the speed from wide and blend into the race.

Given the Michael Kent train is still going well, giving Holy Cow a chance to back up her recent midweek win in the Centaurea Stakes.

Running for the first time over the mile and a quarter, she is certainly bred to get that being by Teofilo.

She will be going back from the draw anyway but she has a lovely weight drop and it is hardly a high quality event.

Fourth up last campaign she ended up three lengths off the winner in a G3 race on Cox Plate day with Azkadellia part of that finish.
