Formerly with the Peter Moody stable, Majestic Lass returns for Davis Hayes & Tom Dabernig having won a recent trial at Tatura over 1000m.
The three-year-old filly raced in much tougher company last campaign and was only narrowly beaten over 1400m at Caulfield before a spell in January.
Majestic Lass has a very handy record when fresh, running second on debut before winning when returning at Moonee Valley last campaign over this trip.
Expect the daughter of Redoute’s Choice to have come on since last campaign and she looks well placed against these on best form.
From barrier 7 would expect her to not be too far away in the run with Royal Enigma the most likely to take it up after scratchings.

Will appreciate the drop back in grade today and off a good trial effort she will be very hard to hold out in this.
Tuscan Red made a pleasing start to his career when winning on debut at this C/D last time out.
Must be respected on the back of that effort and expect him to have come on since debut run.

Royal Enigma had been knocking on the door before going on to win by an impressive five lengths over 1100m at this course last start.
Needs a bit of luck from the wide draw but expect him to roll forward and take up the lead again today.
Daniel Stackhouse remains on board and his last start effort brings him right into this.
At peak fitness now fifth up from a spell and would not be surprised to see him make it two in a row.
Believing rounds out the main chances having finished runner up in his last two outings.
Has been ultra consistent this campaign and placing at this C/D two back expect him to be right in the finish again.
Good luck!
