After the madness of Cup day around the nation, things begin to quieten down for a while but hopefully a few winners can still be found.
At Morphettville, even though he hasn’t won for just over 12 months, giving Extra Choice the chance to do just that in the middle distance race.
His last victory came in the Geelong Classic but he has struggled a bit before and after a break.
However last run he hit the line strongly indicating he was getting back in the swing of things.
He has a massive drop in weight today and another 350m on top of that. It is easy to see he might be ready now.
Battle Brewing looks to have come back very nicely and can run you another top race in the last.
The brother to a couple of stakes winners, he led all the way first up in a very similar race to this.
He draws well again to be leading or to be right behind the speed. Suspect we might still get decent odds on the day.
