Mighty Conqueror will look to continue his strong form when he lines up in the Kranji Stakes C over 1100m on Friday night.
The Mark Walker-trained runner returned in very good order with a Class 3 win over 1000m last week and is building a strong career record with five wins now from just 12 starts, just outside the course record in his impressive win last start.
The slight step up in trip to the 1100m will really suit today and from a middle barrier is likely to not be too far away in the run in a race that appears to have decent tempo.
Returning the highest rating of his career last start, the five-year-old gelding is open to further improvement second up and looks hard to beat again.
Mighty Conqueror is up in the weights today but with 59.5kg but gets a much needed 2kg claim form apprentice jockey and he looks right up to claiming his third win in a row.
Darc Bounty comes off a solid run for fifth in the KRA Trophy (1200m) last start after leading throughout and that effort comes off three wins prior to that.
Won in this grade over 1000m two starts back when getting the better of Cadet and Golden Tomahawk and he rates very well on the back of that win.
This shapes up as a much easier task to what he took on last time out and the slight drop in trip to 1100m should suit as well.
Would expect the son of Darci Brahma to push forward again to settle on the speed today and would not be surprised to see him return to the winners circle on a race like this.
Golden Tomahawk has come back in good order this campaign, running well on all three occasions without winning.
Most recent effort came when third in the Open Benchmark 97 (1000m) behind Sebas late last month and that form looks solid enough for today.
At peak fitness now fourth up from a spell and back over 1100m will suit having won over this trip four times previously.
The six-year-old gelding is rarely too far away at the finish and was not too far away from Darc Bounty in a Kranji Stakes C race three runs back.
Likely to settle in the second half of the field again today and if they really put the speed on that will give him a chance to finish off strongly and feature in the finish.
Super Six comes off a solid run for fourth last Friday night behind Mighty Conqueror producing a very strong closing sectional.
Yet to win over the 1100m but has wins between 1000-1400m and third up today should be ready to show his best and would not be surprised to see him make his way into the placings.
Pole Paradise ran well over this trip in a class 3 two starts back when runner up and despite a modest effort last start when midfield is open to improvement on that effort and rounds out the main chances.
