The Chris Gangemi trained Three Votes remains a big watch fresh having scorched the turf last preparation.

A winner of five of his 10 starts including three minor placings, Three Votes failed to fire over 1200m prior to a break, however his two performances leading into that were electric.

Off the scene for close to a year (357 days) he has trialled very well in the lead up and all of his career wins have come over this trip.

In eight attempts he has only missed the money once over 1000m and love the fact he has drawn wide for Noske.

At the weights he appears very well placed and if anywhere near his peak, he should take a power of beating.

Gee Boss sets up the market and while he is in great form chasing the hat-trick, the handicapper looks to have got hold of him now and much rather side with Three Votes.

The Justine Erkelens trained Friar Fox faces her stiffest test in the Listed Ascot 1000 Guineas, but appears capable of taking that next step.

A winner of three of her five starts, Friar Fox took a good step forward at this course and distance last start and has drawn to get a much kinder run in transit.

No easy task facing both Showcase and Private Dancer, however she is heading the right way and is expected to make her presence felt.
