Best From The West - September 29

3 minute read

The Simon Miller trained Dance Music has been ultra impressive in two starts to point and appears well placed to notch up the hat-trick at Belmont on Saturday.

Sent out prohibitive odds ($1.30 & $1.20) at her first two starts, the daughter of War Chant easily justified her short quote, spacing her rivals on both occasions.

A key sectional star at this course and distance last start, she appears a very talented filly and is clearly on an upward spiral.

While this is easily her toughest test to date, she holds a key fitness edge and has drawn to receive all the favours.

Pike continues his association with the filly and at the weights she should take a power of beating.

Have a lot of respect for the Stephen Wolfe trained Lordhelpmerun in his return, however confident Dance Music will be too sharp for him.

The Steele Casey trained Regal Moon simply should have won in her stable debut, only to miss the start and work home strongly late.

Finishing a game second behind Multiverse, Regal Moon remains open to good improvement second up and appears well placed with the added aid of the claim.

Formerly trained by Team Williams, Regal Moon has placed in 10 of 13 attempts and while possessing just the sole win to her name, she is more than capable.

The form through both Great Again and Necklet (last preparation) makes for good reading and she is certainly overdue for a second career win.

While she can get back in her races, with even luck she should prove hard to hold out.
