Here's the bet365 six races to play in this week plus the R&S team's thoughts in the top prospects:

Doomben Race 7

INVINCIBLE SHIELD (1) has been a revelation since transferring to Tony Gollan this prep. Made it three-for-three for the campaign when he led all the way and easily accounted for his rivals over 1110m at this track a fortnight ago. That followed a one-month freshen-up so he should tighten up a bit. Looks the winner again. ADDRIEL (2) returned from a 27-week spell with a tidy win in a Class 5 over this distance at Ipswich last start. Genuine gelding who will hold that form second-up. Looks the logical threat. Stablemate RIMBAUD (7) made it two wins from three runs this time in work when he got home easily over 1400m at Eagle Farm recently. No match for Invincible Shield two runs back and doubt he can turn the tables, but a must for quinella and trifecta punters. KING YOSHI (8) races beyond 1000m for the first time. Should position near the pace from gate one and can run a cheeky race. BOHEMIAN LAD (3) is honest and can fill a top-three spot with luck from a tricky gate.

Caulfield Race 7

RECOMMENDATION (2) will be all the rage here and rightly so. He was aided by the track pattern here first-up in the G3 John Monash Stakes but was ultra impressive, scoring by 7 lengths. No issue out to 1200m and with no weight swing to his rivals, he should just win again. MRS CHRISSIE (6) closed off well behind the favourite last time and can settle closer here. She should bridge back some of the margin. SEMILLION (1) is racing well and brings some different form which could be key. He's a strong place hope. MORNINGTON GLORY (3) was poor in the Monash but may be an improver while MARBLE NINE (5) has some upside.

Randwick Race 9

AWASH (4) progressive gelding sent north for this after attacking the line late when a classy 0.8 len victory as favourite over 1700m at Sandown-Hillside on July 3. At his top now and has carried the big weights well in the past. Can sit off them here from the wide draw and win again. GO TROPPO (8) looked good at Canterbury when winning two back, before rising in class and failing to handle the conditions when seventh over 2000m here on July 6. Drop in trip suits and no surprise to see him bounce back here. THE ENGLISHMAN (11) loomed up strongly when a slogging head second to the promising Don Diego De Vega at this track and trip on July 13. At his top now and a repeat of the latest can see him go one better from the low draw. ENOTIS (10) lightly raced staying type with a ton of upside. Attacked the line late with the 60kg in the heavy (9) going on resumption when fourth over 1550m at Canterbury on July 3. Has won second-up and looks set for a big prep.

Doomben Race 8

GREYZOUS (5) has been out of the placings in three runs since a first-up win, but she has bumped into some smart types. Battled on fairly in a better race than this last start over today's trip at Eagle Farm. Yet to win away from the Gold Coast poly track but this looks a nice race. ROSE NOIR (9) led and tried hard but found one better last time out over 1100m at Ipswich. Failed at her only try at this distance but it was at Listed level. Very fit and capable of another bold run. AVONE (3) has been safely held in her two runs this prep, both in stronger races than this. Freshened up and gets blinkers for the first time. No surprise to see her spring back into form. SPIRITUAL SONG (11) led from the outset and dug deep to win on debut recently over 1000m at Eagle Farm. Big step up this time but there is tremendous scope for improvement. REAL RUSH (15) resumes. Showed ability in her maiden prep. Must be respected from the low gate with the featherweight.

Caulfield Race 8

Going for one at odds here in the form of the import MAXIMILIAN CAESAR (10), who makes his Australian debut for the Dom Sutton yard. He's a handy 4yo gelding who has run in some good races and posted figures that would go a fair way to winning this with 53kg. The market might be the best guide. JIMMY THE BEAR (2) is the one to beat. He was tough winning the Mildura Cup with 60kg last time and won it well. Looks ideally placed here from the draw at a mile. GREEN FLY (7) hit the line well for third in the Winter Championships Final and that form should hold up well. LOUNGE BAR RUBI (8) was just ahead of Green Fly last time and must have claims. PRINCE OF HELENA (9) perhaps next best.

Randwick Race 10

SEQUESTERED (10) classy mare resuming with a sound fresh record who can go to another level this time in. Wasn't pushed out in two trials and no surprise to see her finish over the top of them. LITTLE COINTREAU (6) has a fitness edge over these and deserves his chance in this grade after scoring a head victory as fav at Randwick Kensington with the 60kg on July 17. Will need luck early but not to be underestimated. THE REPLICANT (14) tough gelding due for a change of luck who will appreciate the drop in weight. Returned from a let-up when ploughing through the heavy (9) conditions to finish second over this trip at Warwick Farm on July 10. Fitter now and can play a leading role on a firmer track. CADETSHIP (12) resumes from a spell and has a ton of ability. Won first-up in the past and looked to have plenty up the sleeve in two quiet trials. Must be kept safe from the good gate and the Norton bit goes on.
